20 free vintage book textures!

I thought you guys might enjoy some free textures to help get through this Wednesday. These textures were created from late 19th/early 20th century books I found at a local book shop. Feel free to use them in any of your creative projects, even commercial ones.

Wonderfully quirky illustrations by Marco Puccini

Quirky, playful, Alice in Wonderland-esque, I’m not really sure what adjectives are correct when describing Milan based Marco Puccini’s work… but he has quite a distinctive styles that consistently shines through. The use of paper textures along with  Victorian inspired color palettes give his illustrations an antiquated look that I truly love. Check out his portfolio for a few dozen more of his works (it was tough picking just a couple for this post), you can also give him a follow on Twitter.
